Located just south of Nashville near 8th Avenue South, is Berry Hill. Berry Hill along with Oak Hill are the only other two self governing municipalities within Davidson County. Berry Hill has a population of 537 and has largely become a large commercial area filled with restaurants and businesses alike.

Berryhill is also home to many unique boutique businesses and restaurants this includes Sunflower Café, Baja Burrito, Vui’s Kitchen, The Yellow Porch, Brother Burger Joint, the Pfunky Griddle, Sam and Zoe’s, Monells, Thai Kitchen, Juice Bar, and many more.

A large portion of Berry Hill is devoted to small businesses both in dining, music, cosmetology, skin care and entertainment. One of the areas most prominent and long-standing businesses is Blackbird Studios owned by famed country singer Martina McBride and her husband John Mcbride.

Berry Hill continues to grow both in size, stature, and reputation throughout the music and entertainment world. As real estate values have increased over time on Music Row, many studios and small businesses have migrated over to Berry Hill mainly for cost but also because of its centralized location.

Berry Hill also has a neighboring center of commerce called 100 Oaks. The main mall was construct in the 1980s and since then has expanded into several other developments as well as attracting other businesses such as Burlington Coat Factory, Tj Maxx, Ross, Michaels, Panda Express, Home Depot, Staples, Walmart, Kirklands, Electronic Express, PetSmart, Guitar Center, Logan’s Roadhouse, Panera Bread Company, and a Large Regal Movie Theater.

100 Oaks Mall was recently bought by Vanderbilt and transformed into medical offices inside to help with the ever-growing healthcare expansion in Nashville for both outpatient needs and small medical practices.

While Berry Hill does have quite a bit of commercial activity, there are still quite a few single-family residential homes available for sale.
