Inglewood, has long been regarded as the littler brother of East Nashville. With the rising housing costs and popularity of East Nashville, Inglewood has slowly and steadily started to climb the ranks becoming one of Nashville’s hottest areas in respect to growth.
Similar to many other fast growing areas in Nashville, Inglewood did not experience much change or growth for several decades until a couple of years ago when the area started becoming a place primed for revitalization and renovation.
Perhaps one of Ingelwood’s most hallmark stretches is the amount of mixed use and new commercial development along Riverside Drive which offers some long desired restaurants, coffee shops, retail, and walkability to the neighboring residential community.
Inglewood remains quieter than east Nashville, but a growing alternative with easy access to Briley Pkwy and I-65N as well as to the hot spots and night life of East Nashville and Downtown. Known for the charm and character of its historic cottage style homes, Inglewood is becoming a place Nashvillians come from all over the city to enjoy.
